Jedan problem globalne optimizacije

Speaker: Marco Gaboardi (Bologna) Title: Light Logics: a tool for polynomial time in functional programming Abstract: We overview the Light Logics approach to Implicit Computational Complexity presenting different proposals for the class of polynomial time functions. We focus on the use of light logics in designing type systems for the Lambda Calculus considered as a core functional programming...
متن کاملMetacomputing with MILAN
The MILAN project, a joint effort involving Arizona State University and New York University, has produced and validated fundamental techniques for the realization of efficient, reliable, predictable virtual machines, that is, metacomputers, on top of environments that consist of an unreliable and dynamically changing set of machines. In addition to the techniques, the principal outcomes of the...
متن کاملFun2Mas: The Milan Robocup Team
We present Fun2maS, the Milan Robocup Team. In its implementation we have faced many aspects: hardware (electronics, mechanics), sensors (omnidirectional vision), behaviors (fuzzy behaviors management and composition), multi-agent coordination (strategy and tactics), and adaptation of the team behavior. We could fully exploit the characteristics of all the components thanks to the modular desig...
متن کاملThe water footprint of Milan.
This study quantifies the water footprint of consumption (WFcons) and production (WFprod) of Milan. The current WFcons amounts to 6,139 l/cap/d (a volume of 2.93 km(3) annually), of which 52 l/cap/d (1%) is attributed to domestic water, 448 l/cap/d (7%) to the consumption of industrial products and 5,639 l/cap/d (92%) to the consumption of agricultural products.
